課程概述 |
《課程描述》
Internet已經成長的第四階段，每個組織，甚至個人，都已透過網路與世界接軌，與顧客接觸。圖書館網站更是圖書館的分身，很多讀者可能沒有到過實體圖書館，可是卻拜訪過圖書館網站，甚至有些讀者可能不是實體圖書館的顧客，但卻是圖書館網站的忠誠顧客。在體驗經濟時代，圖書館網站創造的知識體驗，攸關讀者上網的成敗，是值得正視的問題。大部分圖書館將網站設計視為單次任務，實則網站內容是不斷成長的，是有生命的，故網站經營也應是圖書館永續的課題。
本課探討網站設計與發展，內容主要涵蓋三大部份。第一部分為網站設計，內容包括網頁配置、導覽架構、資訊組織、網站架構、網頁寫作等。第二部分為專案管理，圖書館網站的規模堪列大型網站之列，其開發設計為一團隊合作的成果，宜導入專案管理模式。第三部分則為網站之經營與管理，將探討有關網站發展與維護之概念性、技術性、組織與社會環境相關之各項議題。。
《課程對象》
本課程歡迎有網頁設計經驗的同學選修，但只要是對網站設計有興趣的人，認同內容是最有價值資產的夥伴，都歡迎您的參與。
《上課方式》
本課程以教室上課為主，輔以網路非同步教學，雙軌並進。利用Ceiba 4建置教學網站，將課程相關資訊與教材以網頁呈現，並利用討論看板分享學習心得，繳交作業。同時透過電子郵件提醒進度，提供相關課程資訊。

課程目標 |
《課程目標》
本課程將著重在資訊組織，如圖書館、資訊服務組織等，如何善用網站和網頁特性，在顧客溝通，提高生產力和塑造讀者資訊尋求行為上，做出具體貢獻。希望透過本課程的學習，同學可以：
1. 熟諳網頁寫作（web writing）能力；
2. 清楚網頁配置和網站設計之基本原則；
3. 應用資訊結構幫助組織在數位環境中有效呈現；
4. 了解資訊結構與網站設計與經營管理情境之關係（STEP）；
5. 了解如何以專案管理發揮團隊綜效開發大型複雜網站；
6. 體認資訊結構之重要，並為國內資訊結構師（information architect）催生。 |
